Glad you could join me for my first posting on my new site about sleep. Being a nightshift nurse for many years, I have seen that sleep is a big problem for many people. My patients stating to me that they can’t sleep. Do I have a sleeping pill that they can take? Others stating that sleeping pills don’t work for them or that they only last for a short period of time. These are people with chronic sleeping problems or also known as insomniacs.Then I hear from my coworkers - I didn’t get much sleep today, I’m so tired. I have a hard time sleeping during the day. I can only sleep a few hours and then have to get up and get my kids from school. These are some of the many problems that night shift workers have with sleeping.
Then I hear from other people saying they can’t sleep because there spouse snores so loud and makes strange grunting sounds - or talks in there sleep - or has loud uneven breathing patterns.
There are medical reasons for some of these sleeping problems. There are solutions for these problems without taking prescription medications to go to sleep. There are ways to over come being an insomniac.
Sleeping problems effect a large portion of the world population. I see this day in and day out while working as a night shift nurse. I plan, through this site, to address the many sleeping problems that do exist and solutions to these problems.

An effective method for those who have insomnia is to control the anxiety. And the anxiety can be controlled with meditation and concentration.
